The report of this week covers the period of Nov. 19 to 25. The detachment assisted with 57 calls during that time period.

November 19

A seatbelt ticket was issued to a 22-year-old male in Arcola. The fine for failure to wear a seatbelt is $175.

RCMP received a 911 hang up call from a residence in Carlyle. Members attended and there was a domestic verbal discussion occurring. No physical violence occurred. Members kept the peace and in the end, no charges were laid.

RCMP received a complaint from an individual in Redvers of an intoxicated neighbour trying to get into another residence. Members attended and were informed that the individual had found a place to stay.

The detachment received a report of a static 911 call from a location near Redvers. Members called the registered owner by cell phone, and spoke to the owner who advised that police were not required.

RCMP received a 911 call from a residence in Carlyle where an intoxicated individual was causing disturbance. Members attended and a 31-year-old was arrested after becoming aggressive with members. The individual was taken to cells and released in the morning after sobering. No charges were laid in the matter.

Police received a call of an intoxicated individual in the area that was blacking out. Members attended to find two individuals intoxicated and arguing. Members gave the intoxicated individual a ride to another residence.

The detachment received a call from the area advising that an intoxicated female had left the house and the caller was requesting police assistance to check on her well-being. Members attended and patrols were made however, police were unable to find the individual.

Members on patrol located a stolen vehicle in Arcola that had been taken from Regina. A 15-year-old youth has been arrested as a result of failing to comply with conditions and possession of a stolen vehicle. The individual will be appearing in court.

Police received a call from a 17-year-old female who had been missing for 10 months. She claimed that she was locked in a bathroom at a residence. After speaking with the young girl, members discovered that there were no immediate safety concerns and the caller was not locked in a washroom. The young girl had called because she wanted transfer arrangements made back to her foster home in Saskatoon.

Members received a report of a possible impaired driver in the area. Members were currently involved with another matter and were unable to attend immediately. When they were able to do so, no vehicle was not able to be found.

Police received a 911 call from the area. Individuals were intoxicated at a residence and the owner would like them removed. Members attended and kept the peace until the individuals left the house.

The detachment received a complaint from a driver involved in an accident near Kisbey in the early morning hours. The driver was requesting assistance in getting her vehicle out of the ditch. The complainant was provided information for a local towing company. No further police action was required.

RCMP received a complaint of domestic assault in the area. Minor injuries were reported by one individual who declined laying charges. The assaulter was removed from the residence for the night as requested by the complainant.

The detachment received a 911 in regards to some mischief done to a van in the area. A window had been smashed out. The matter is still under investigation.

November 20

The detachment received a complaint from Pheasant Rump in regards to harassment that was taking place. The matter is still under investigation and appears to be a dispute between families.

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen excavator from a gravel pit in the Redvers area. The complainant found the machine in a very muddy field. The investigation is ongoing.

The detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle in Manor. The vehicle was left in Manor two days ago. The keys were not in the vehicle and the truck was locked. The vehicle has now been returned but the matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a false alarm at Arcola School.

Police received five calls in regard to a semi rollover on highway #13 that was hauling saltwater. The load of the tanker truck was contained. The complainant was going to arrange for a tow after he checked on the driver. No injuries resulted from the incident and no charges were laid.

November 21

Police received a false alarm from a business in Kenosse.

The detachment received a 911 hang up call from the area. Members attended and the resident was intoxicated and as a result, was warned about calling 911 when there was is no emergency or need for police assistance.

Members attended a breach of the peace at White Bear School. Members determined that the matter should be dealt with directly by the individuals' supervisors.

The detachment received a report of harassing phone calls to a business in Carlyle. The caller advised that they would block the number, and they would let the police know if the calls continued.

Members are investigating a possible theft in Carlyle in regards to an individual who gave their PIN number to someone else.

The RCMP received a report of damage that was done to a residence being rented out in Carlyle. The matter is still under investigation.

The detachment received a report of a traffic incident on highway #13 at the Skyline. A vehicle with a high load caused damage to the overhang at the motel.

Police received a call concerning an under-age individual driving around without a license. The caller was concerned about the safety of the individual. The matter is still under investigation.

November 22

RCMP received a report of an erratic driver heading westbound between Kisbey and Forget. Estevan and Filmore RCMP were advised.

Members attended to a report of an intoxicated individual passed out in an approach in the area. Members patrolled by car and foot and were unable to find the individual.

The detachment received a request to locate an 11-year-old male who had been dropped off and was supposed to be home at a certain time. The individual had no cell phone and had not arrived home. The complainant was going to continue searching for the young man. The caller phoned back shortly after indicating the young man had arrived home safely.

Police received a 911 hang-up call that was reported as a misdial. Members contacted the residence's owner and it was confirmed that no police attendance was required.

A Manor resident attended the detachment and turned over a wallet found at the entrance of a bank. The owner was contacted and picked up their wallet at the detachment.

Police received a call concerning an individual that had blown a stop-sign on Railway Avenue, in addition to information concerning a vehicle backing out of Main Street in Carlyle that had almost hit her. The caller was requesting additional patrols be made.

Members attended a 911 call of an oil battery fire. Carlyle Fire Department members were en route and able to put the fire out. It appears that a flare stack was spitting up oil.

November 23

Police received a report of a traffic accident where a 16-year-old male was driving on highway #13 near Kisbey. The vehicle hit a patch of ice and went into the ditch. Members attended and the roads were indeed, extremely slippery. No charges were laid.

Members received a call requesting help finding the caller's 25-year-old daughter. The daughter was thought to be in Wawota. Members located the daughter and the parents were notified.

Police received a report of an assault with a weapon that occurred in the area between two females. The matter is still under invesitagation.

Members attended a single vehicle motor accident on highway #13. The vehicle had gone into the ditch while passing another vehicle near Kisbey on highway #13. Members attended and the road was extremely slippery. No injuries resulted from the incident and no charges were laid.

November 24

RCMP received a report from the Town of Carlyle regarding a vehicle that was parked on the street in Carlyle and hadn't been moved in quite some time. The matter is ongoing.

A 21-year-old male from Carlyle attended to the detachment to clear up some warrants from Saskatoon.

Police received a report of a group of intoxicated young males parked in a vehicle at Bear Claw Casino. Members attended and the driver had misplaced his keys for the vehicle. The individual was transported to a residence. No charges were laid in the matter.

Members are investigating an assault that occurred in the area. The caller indicated that her mother was beating her up and pulling her hair. RCMP attended and the complainant had fled to a neighbours. RCMP arrested a 31-year-old female and alternate arrangements were made for the remaining children in the house.

An Arcola resident advised that someone had stolen his compound hunting bow from his vehicle. There are no suspects at this time, but the matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report from an individual in the area advising that she had noticed a picture of her daughter being used on the internet in Brandon. The complainant was advised that the matter would have to be referred to the Brandon police as it had occurred in their jurisdiction.

A report of a deer-motor vehicle accident on highway #48 was received. No injuries resulted from the incident.

RCMP received a request to assist the general public in the area. The caller indicated that his common-law girlfriend was threatening to damage the house. Members attended and spoke to the complainant and he indicated the girlfriend was trying to remove items from the house. Members advised that the disagreement was a civil matter and that he may want to seek assistance from a lawyer for the division of goods.

November 25

Police attended to a false alarm at the Arcola Community School. The building was secure however; the alarm was still going off. The alarm company was contacted.

A single motor vehicle accident with five occupants was reported on the highway near Arcola. The occupants were taken to the hospital to be looked at and one was kept overnight with broken ribs. The 19-year-old male driver blew an F during the breath samples taken on scene. The individual was taken to the detachment where he blew borderline. An alcohol toxicology expert will be contacted to determine if criminal charges will be laid in the matter.

Police received a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle accident on the east side of Carlyle by the train tracks on highway #13. Members attended and a 24-year-old male was charged with failing to notify property owners of damage and failing to report the accident.

Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle parked in Wauchope. The caller advised that the vehicle had been there for quite some time and he wanted to ensure that the vehicle had not been stolen. Members contacted the registered owners who indicated it had broken down and they would be moving it fairly soon.

Members received a 911 call from a residence in Redvers. The owner of the residence was contacted and members were informed that he was still waiting for Sasktel to fix the problem.
