Bicyclists are out in full force and share many of our streets with automobiles. Traffic laws have to be obeyed by cyclists to help ensure safety. Many bikes are reported stolen and some are later found. License and lock your bicycles.
Skateboards are not allowed to be used in the downtown area. Skateboarders are encouraged to use the skateboard park located at the Weyburn Youth Center.
During the past week Weyburn Police Service received 130 calls for service. As a result of the weather warming, house and yard parties increased. Citizens are reminded there is a noise bylaw and often these parties are an irritant to other neighbours.
