Laura Morrissette likes to pick her numbers on LOTTO MAX. But it was the randomly generated numbers on EXTRA that won $100,000.
Laura purchased her $6 ticket, saying 'Yes' to EXTRA at LJ's Hillside Store located at 207-3rd Street South East in Weyburn. It wasn't until she went to purchase a ticket the following week that she checked her ticket from the September 28 draw. She scanned it through the self-checker and the message was a big surprise.
"I did not believe it at first," Laura said. "I had the store clerk check it at the terminal."
Her ticket had correctly matched the last six digits in exact order of the add-on game EXTRA!
"It's going to be an 'EXTRA' special party this year," Laura said, referring to her daughter's birthday.
Laura plans to use her winnings to get started on some home renovations. "The planned renovations would have taken two years to save up for and complete."
