Women of the Year nominees announced

Fourteen nominees for the 2012 SaskPower Quota International of Weyburn Women of the Year Awards were announced at a reception on March 25 at Grace United Church.

Fourteen nominees for the 2012 SaskPower Quota International of Weyburn Women of the Year Awards were announced at a reception on March 25 at Grace United Church.

Nominees for each award are:

*SaskPower Workplace Excellence Award: Andria Brady, Arlene Dobson, Gloria Mildenberger, Sandra Mryglod and Carrie Hembroff Murphy.

*Access Communications Exceptional Entrepreneur Award: Carmen Langevin and Ellen Johnston.

*Investors Group Young Women of Distinction: Staci Rae Bukowski, Megan Paxman and Chelsea Woodard.

*Quota International of Weyburn Community Service Award: Lorna Bossenberry, Joanne Domes, Joan Honig-Drouillard and Lee McLeod.

The Women of the Year Awards will be presented at a luncheon being held at McKenna Hall on April 5 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Dr. Vianne Timmons, president and vice-chancellor at the University of Regina.
