RM of Estevan enjoys strong 2013

It appears that 2013 was a strong one for the RM of Estevan as it continued to enjoy some impressive growth. In a press release the RM announced it issued $35.86 million in building permits in 2013.

Weyburn police investigate 'grandparent' scam in city

Over the past week the Weyburn Police Service has received complaints of telephone scams. In particular one is the "grandparent" scam where a supposed grandchild has run afoul of the law and needs money.

Restriction for traffic on Queen

Weyburn city council has moved to restrict any vehicle hauling a trailer from travelling south on Queen Street from Highway 13 to Highway 39, to prevent further accidents from occurring at the CP railway crossing near Highway 39.

Sun Country to limit flu vaccinations
