The football season has come to an end for the Eagles with their loss in the Moose Jaw League playoffs on Saturday. Both the girls and boys soccer teams are off to provincials this weekend.

The Carlyle Cougar Senior Girls Volleyball Team hosted their annual invitational tournament. Teams from Oxbow, Stoughton, Carnduff, Manor/Wawota, and Lampman attended the two-day event.

The Bruins have been scouring the trade market for the last 10 days and today they completed two deals. The first one brings in some much-needed scoring help as 20-year-old right winger Roger Tagoona comes over from the Battlefords North Stars.

Bruins defenceman Tyler Kauk is headed to Calgary in a few days to attend the main camp for Canada West for this year's World Junior A Challenge. Kauk, 19, was one of seven SJHL players on the camp roster announced last night.
