More than 500 skaters descended upon Regina from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 for the 2012 Skate Canada Challenge and local 14-year-old Grace Smyth was one of them.

Weyburn's own Derrick Pouliot was announced as one of the 40 CHL players that will compete in the 2012 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC, on February 1, 2012.
