This gallery shows action from the first game of U11 Tier 4 provincials for the Weyburn U11 Beavers on Friday, as they defeated the Saskatoon Cardinal Crushers 14-6 at Jubilee Park. They followed up with an 18-7 win on Saturday morning against the Sask. Five Knucklers team.

The Biggest Little Fair in Saskatchewan includes a pig scramble, parade, craft and trade show, beach volleyball, softball, and many other activities.

This gallery features children involved in the summer arts and rec program at the Credit Union Spark Centre, as they created their own coats-of-arms on Friday morning. They made shields with their own coats-of-arms, depicting their hobbies, activities or likes.

Many families came out to enjoy three days of perfect, clear summer weather and take in the rides and attractions of the 114th annual Weyburn Fair on July 6-8 at the Weyburn exhibition grounds. The midway was provided by Canuck Amusements, with many food vendors, the Souris River Rodeo, the DQ Kids Rodeo, barrel-racing and a grandstand show, among other things, to keep people busy.

This gallery shows the finale entertainment for the Weyburn Fair on Saturday evening, which culminated with a car smashing through a camper, along with lawn tractor races and quad pulls. There was also one round of mini-van demolition derby action, all in front of full grandstands.

The Weyburn Arts Council hosted the Gifted Summer Art Market on Saturday, located along the paths of Jubilee Park. The day was sunny and hot, bringing out many families to see the vendors of artists and crafts people, plus non-profit groups had booths, with a barbecue by the Weyburn Humane Society, and golf ball drop tickets available from the Rotary Club.

This photo gallery shows some of the action in the rodeo arena at the Weyburn exhibition grounds on Thursday evening for the Souris River Rodeo, sanctioned by the Canadian Cowboys Association. Friday saw slack events in the morning, and the second full night of competition in the evening, with events including bareback and saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, break-away roping, barrel-racing and steer wrestling.

The streets were crowded with spectators for the annual Weyburn Summer Parade on Thursday morning, as a prelude to the Weyburn Fair, which began later in the day with a midway and rodeo. There were many floats from organizations and businesses, as well as the City of Weyburn and groups like the Weyburn Ag Society and Humane Society.

The 81st 4-H Interclub Fed Calf, Sheep and Goat sale was held on Wednesday afternoon to wrap up Weyburn's Regional 4-H Show, which began on July 2 with the Light Horse Show. There were 111 fed calves on the auction block, as well as five market lambs and one market goat. The sale began with the Grand Champion steer, sold by Rylan Fladeland of the Radville Beef Club, and the Reserve Champion by Sadie Davidson, who also had the Best Homegrown Steer.

A full day of Canada Day activities were hosted in Assiniboia. Events included a pancake breakfast, car show, demo derby, and much more!
