At long last, spring has finally arrived and not a moment too soon. Spring is magic here on the prairies. Very soon, the grass will be green, buds on shrubs and trees will become leaves, and flowers will be all in full bloom.

A Mother’s Day Tea and Fashion Show will be presented by the Friends of the Gravelbourg Convent on Saturday, May 12.

The Assiniboia and District Pro-Life will host their spring banquet at the St. George’s Parish Centre on Sunday, May 6 at 6 p.m. The keynote speaker is Carla Carlson, a Swift Current area lawyer and palliative care advocate.
