Tornado warning for Sask. ends, storm moves into Manitoba

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN — Update: At 9:31 p.m., the tornado alert on the Saskatchewan side of the border has been cancelled. The storm has moved on to Manitoba, where municipalities there are under a tornado warning.

Original post: At 9:26 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

This thunderstorm is between Storthoaks and Gainsborough and is moving eastwards at 20 km/h.

This storm is near Tilston and is moving eastwards at 30 km/h.

Baseball sized hail is possible.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.
