A time to be thankful

As Christmas draws near my thoughts wander to Christmas's past and those people who made the day so very special. The years pass quickly and many of those people are gone now, though they are still with us in our memories and hearts.

It has been a busy two weeks of hockey for our team. The Carlyle Cougars travelled to Redvers on Friday, December 7. The Cougars came out strong and dominated the game from the beginning.

On Dec. 8 Prairie Place in Arcola was host to three regulars of Applause Dinner Theatre based out of Regina. A dinner theatre was hosted by the Moose Mountain Health Care Recruitment Committee as a fundraising event. Cocktails began at 6 p.m.
