I am not going to lie to you; I have seen a multitude of movies and have read a great number of books. This includes books that have been made into movies and the age old question of which is better.

A Higgs-Boson particle goes into a church and the preacher says, "Higgs-Bosons aren't allowed in here.

Last Wednesday was the School Community Council (SCC) Annual General Meeting, followed by the Elementary School's Open House. Both the SCC meeting and the Open House were well attended. It was great to see so many interested parents.

The School Community Council and GFK are participating in the Me to We "We Scare Hunger" campaign. We are hoping to have many students dress up this year and collect food bank items rather than treats.

Climbing into the cab of tractors which seem to be getting bigger and bigger with each generation of a brand has become the way of farming.

Flu season is upon us once again and clinics will be held in the area to provide vaccinations. Everyone is encouraged to get a flu shot as they are available free of charge to all.

The Guinness World Records, or The Guinness Book of World Records, is a book compiled of any possible record in the world from holding one's breath to the tallest man in the world. Human feats are featured as are natural wonders.

Faith can move mountains, but don't be surprised if God hands you a shovel! (Unknown) A famous advertising man was asked to speak to a group of clergymen about revitalizing their congregations. They hoped to use his media skills to advantage.

Town Council was called to order on Oct. 3, 2012. The two new councillors were present to observe the meeting as an introduction to what their new positions would entail.
