Marcie Erick grew up on a farm in the Arcola district and now lives in Swift Current with her family. She recently returned to the area, when she was completing a project that is very dear to her heart.

The Carlyle Happy Gang is replacing the flooring in their facility, contracting the project out locally.

Former Carlyle resident Eva Eckert hit the century mark on July16 and as anyone would never “suspect,” she was treated to a surprise birthday celebration.
