The Saskatchewan Health Authority has started the process of re-opening eight of the 12 regional emergency rooms temporarily closed as part of the health system readiness plan for COVID-19.

The province released their full budget on Monday which showed a $1.9 billion addition to the debt total that can be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peter Donald Valli of Manor, Sask. passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the age of 65 years, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Emily Ellis of Arcola is working on her Masters in Film Making and Media Arts. Ellis grew up in Arcola where she attended public school and graduated high school.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) announced Wednesday they will enter phase three of their reopening plan, which includes increasing surgical and imaging volumes starting June 16.

On Monday, June 8 many local and area businesses were able to reopen and start a “new normal” in the way they serve their valued clientele under the Saskatchewan Government’s Phase III plan for the provincial economy.
