Held in the picturesque setting of Cannington Manor, Saskatchewan, the fair highlights a variety of events and activities that highlight the areas agricultural roots, cultural history, and community spirit.

Saskatchewan Junior’s brought some of their best cattle to the Bonanza 2024 show, competing in various categories and age groups.

The Pheasant Rump powwow was held at the grounds off of highway 13, north of Kisbey, under a huge white tent, which housed everyone out of the elemments, and brought together members from across the region to honour their heritage and remember a cherished member of their community.

Bromantics performed songs from The Beatles to Bobby Darin the infectious tunes had people ‘twisting the night away’ and literally dancing in the aisles, with an impressively long conga line to Harry Belafonte’s “Jump in the Line” all but emptying the seats.

“Limitations of cell phones in our schools will reduce the amount of distractions in our classrooms which will allow our staff to focus on educating our students,” Prairie Spirit Board of Education Chair Bernie Howe said.

When MacKenzie retired – and through the COVID-19 years – she began exploring with online learning.

Tami Dovell created the event in 2015. She has been in the healing business since 1994 when she became a massage therapist.

This gathering was located just off the shores of White Bear Lake, and is designed to highlight and nurture local artistic talent.

The anniversary celebration was held in June with Reverend Michelle Moore officiating.
