In late December, Edmonton Police Service arrested four Mexican drug cartel members and seized rifles, a handgun, a sawed-off shotgun, body armour, and ammunition. They also seized cocaine, methamphetamines, oxycodone, and cash.

Saskatchewan country artist Chris Henderson says 2015 “will be a big year” for him, personally and professionally. “I'll be getting married to my fiancee (teacher Janelle Howlett), in September,” says Henderson.

The month of December was an eventful one. We started off with a game December 2nd at lampman with a win of 7-5 with Drayden Arndt and Tyrell Dixon as top scorers.

The White Bear Education Complex hosted their annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 18. The youth had put a lot of work into preparing for the event, while the community was very receptive as the gym was filled with friends and family.

It’s all over for another year. Christmas, that is. Accompanied by a sense of mixed relief and sadness, for me the first week in January is busy with the work of packing away decorations and storing what’s left of decadent goodies in the freezer.
