Believe it or not, like it or not, Christmas is less than a month away. Thanks to a mother who never failed to celebrate no matter how difficult the circumstances, I love everything about the season. Well, almost everything.

The Pee Wee Cougars headed to Kipling for a game last Friday night. The Cougars came on strong early and were up 3-1 by the end of the first period. Kipling rose to the challenge and completely dominated the second period, scoring 4 unanswered goals.

I had the opportunity recently to visit the city where I lived for five of my elementary school years. I had some time to drive around and see familiar places including schools, churches, parks and ball diamonds.
