Creative Tables for Cancer will be celebrating its seventh year of being on Thursday, Oct.16. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and supper will follow at 6:30 p.m. Event organizer, Darlene Olsen, is excited for this year's Creative Tables.

A project anticipated to be published in 2013, Carlyle's new history book, "Blacktop to Black Gold", publication was pushed back and after years of diligent work it will be unveiled to the community on Thursday, Oct. 9.
