Tourism Estevan is bringing back their annual Beach Bash on Saturday, Aug. 16. The Woodlawn Regional Park Boundary Dam Site will be filled with fun activities for a reasonable price. Between noon and 2 a.m.

This week we celebrated Sea Fair, the longest running annual event in our city's calendar. There were the usual floats, carnival rides, local musicians on stage and, of course, the parade.

The Maryfield Ag Society first introduced a fair to Maryfield in 1915. Today, 99 years later, it has continued to succeed. Through rain or shine, the resilience of the Ag Society and the community at large is evident upon arrival.

Just a few years ago, a group of individuals and businesses came together to offer their assistance to people affected by flooding. The event was a success raising over $40,000 in 2011, which helped many in the R.M.

Dave was born in Balfron, Scotland and came to Canada at the age of six months old. It wouldn't be until almost 40 years later that Lilias would come to Canada also from Balfron for a holiday and by chance meet Dave.

Last year Built 4 Life owner Jenna Jensen decided to host a triathlon at Kenosee Lake with the help of numerous volunteers. The efforts of Jensen and her volunteers led to 48 participants taking part in the event.
