Michele Amy has helped to bring about a strong fiddling community in southeast Saskatchewan. Many of her students have gone on to become very adept in the art and have helped her spread the love by teaching their own students.

An old Arcola favourite has new owners.

The Carlyle RCMP detachment received 52 calls to service for the week of July 25-31. 911 calls Three 911 calls were received. Two calls from Wawota were static lines and one from Manor was accidentally dialled.

Wawota Heritage Days brought together young and old in a celebration of their community on August long weekend. Events began on Friday, Aug. 1 and ran through to Sunday, Aug. 3.

Southeast Saskatchewan has a strong connection with their rodeo roots and an upcoming event is no different. Stoughton's New Hope Horse Club will be hosting their annual Rough 'N Ready Roughstock Event on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Tourism Estevan is bringing back their annual Beach Bash on Saturday, Aug. 16. The Woodlawn Regional Park Boundary Dam Site will be filled with fun activities for a reasonable price. Between noon and 2 a.m.

This week we celebrated Sea Fair, the longest running annual event in our city's calendar. There were the usual floats, carnival rides, local musicians on stage and, of course, the parade.

Conspiracy theories - people obsess about them while others attempt to convince others. Over the weekend I watched a couple episodes of a show on Netflix, Unsealed: Conspiracy Files.
