For the first time in 37 years a Moose Jaw rink will represent Saskatchewan at the Canadian Senior Women's Curling Championship at the end of March in Yellowknife, NWT. The feat took place on Sunday, Feb.

The town of Carlyle held a regular meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 26, where they discussed a number of important topics surrounding the town.

As they have for the past 18 years, the Wawota United Church raised funds with their Time and Talent Auction held on Sunday, March 2. Approximately 130 people attended the event, which is slightly below the average attendance over the years.

Congratulations to the GFK students who participated in the Provincial Winter Games last week. Makenna Morrison, Raine Smith, Ashton Magoteaux, and Carli Colpitts all competed in hockey. Makenna, Raine, and Ashton took home Silver Medals.

Olga Freda Hill November 11, 1925 - February 26, 2014 On Wednesday, February 26, 2014, Olga Hill, formerly of Stoughton, passed away at the Moose Mountain Lodge in Carlyle, at the age of 88 years.

With new doctors arriving at the Arcola Family Health Clinic, good things have also come to the town of Stoughton. Though last year during doctor shortages and the Arcola Hospital closures Dr. M.L.

On Oct. 17, 1947, the Carlyle Community Hall, which was built in 1930, caught fire. With community assistance the building would be rebuilt and renamed the Carlyle Memorial Hall.

The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 43 calls from Friday, Feb. 14 to Thursday, Feb. 20. 911 Calls There was a 911 call near Carlyle where the caller hung up.
