SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN — It's another active evening for thunderstorms in the southeast.
Environment Canada has issued a few different thunderstorm warnings on July 20. One was in the afternoon and affected the RMs of Argyle, Antler, Reciprocity and Storthoaks, and the communities within those RMs. Another warning was for Reciprocity and the RM of Moose Creek. A third warning was issued later in the evening for Reciprocity.
Several RMs were covered by a thunderstorm warning earlier in the evening, including Weyburn, Cymri, Fillmore, Griffin, Lomond, Montmartre and Wellington. That warning has ended.
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for much of southern Saskatchewan, including Regina and 58 RMs.
"Thunderstorms have developed across portions of southern Saskatchewan this evening, some of which may become severe. These thunderstorms are expected to continue later into the overnight," the advisory states.
