ESTEVAN — Two drivers from Estevan and three more from Lampman are this year’s track champions at the Estevan Motor Speedway.

The speedway held its season-ending championship night program Aug. 22, with 57 cars entered across five classes.

The closest points battle was in the IMCA modified division. Kody Scholpp of Estevan finished first on the night and had 302 points for the season, leaving him tied with Steven Pfeifer of Bowbells, N.D., for first overall. Scholpp was awarded the title on a tie-breaker, as he had more feature wins (four) than Pfeifer (one).

Pfeifer entered the program with a three-point lead in the standings and finished fourth in the feature, which resulted in the tie with Scholpp.

Aaron Turnbull of Estevan was third with 300 points and was second in the Aug. 22 feature. Cole Fichter came in third.

The championship is the sixth for Scholpp in the modified division. In addition to the four feature wins in points races, he also won the Estevan stop on the Dakota Classic Modified Tour in July.

Kyle Scholpp of Lampman won the stock car crown for the first time, finishing with 308 points. He also won the feature on Aug. 22 to cap his championship season.

He finished six points clear of Gabriel Deschamp of Westhope, N.D. Connor Hanson of Torquay, who won the hobby stock division last year and moved up to stock cars in 2025, was third with 286.

Chase Davidson was second in the feature, followed by Chris Hortness in third and Deschamp in fourth.

Diezel Raynard had the biggest margin of victory for a track champion, finishing with 273 points to win the hobby stock crown for the first time. Raynard also won the hobby stock feature on Aug. 22, wrapping up a memorable campaign. He won several feature races, claimed the hobby stock title in the Tougher than Dirt Tour in June, and swept both races during Riley Raynard’s Dirt Wars weekend doubleheader in July.

Cash Saxon of Lampman was second in the standings with 254 points, and Kaiden Tuchscherer of Estevan was third at 252.
