UPDATE:

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN — Environment Canada has lifted the tornado warning that was in effect for parts of southeast Saskatchewan on July 25.

The warning, initially issued at 8:40 p.m., came to an end at 9:31 p.m. It started with the RMs of Enniskillen, Moose Creek, Mount Pleasant and Reciprocity, and later shifted to Argyle and Storthoaks, which was the final RM to be affected by the warning.

Environment Canada says its meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm that was possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally-intense rainfall were also possible.

Prior to lifting the warning for the RM of Storthoaks, Environment Canada said Tilston, Man., was in the path for the thunderstorm. Baseball-sized hail was possible.

Tornado warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing tornados.
