Woodlawn holds club championships

The Estevan Woodlawn Golf Club held its 2012 club championships on Saturday and Sunday. Nolan Rohatyn and Linda Murphy were the men's and ladies' champions. Rohatyn shot rounds of 71 and 74 to edge runner-up Scott Blackstock by two strokes.

These are needs, not wish list items

How much more could we be? How much more should we be? What can be done to enhance the Energy City that is within the realm of reality? The list of what we need is still rather extensive and does not include anything from a wish list.

Golden Eels win home swimming meet

The Estevan Golden Eels hosted their annual swim meet on Saturday at the Souris Valley Aquatic and Leisure Centre. The Eels had 47 members participating and won the meet with 774 points. Regina was second with 484 and Weyburn was third with 226.
