Thanks to a 12 game winning streak, the Estevan Apex midget AA Bruins have reached their goal to be in top spot in the South Sask Midget AA Hockey League going into the Christmas break.

If I were a member of the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins right now, I know what I'd be asking Santa for, for Christmas - actually there'd be a few things on my list: 1) Wins. This one may be obvious, but the Bruins need wins badly right now.

As it gets closer to opening to the public, praise is growing for Spectra Place. A tour was held Thursday for a group that included members of the media and city council.

It was the festival so nice they've decided to try it twice. The Collage Multicultural Festival will be returning to Estevan in 2011, and quite possibly for the next few years after that.
