Vandalism is continuing to be a major headache for Estevan and area residents. Vandals recently struck at Rafferty Dam where a group of culprits used a vehicle to pull the dock at the marina out of the water causing significant damage in the process.

The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins wrapped up exhibition play over the weekend and are now looking forward to their regular season opener tomorrow night in Melville.

The Editor, It is past time for a change in the way in which property taxes are determined. Unlike income taxes, property taxes are not based on earning, ability to pay or even services provided.
