The Estevan Bruins will have a couple of familiar faces in goal when they start the 2022-23 regular season Friday night at Affinity Place against the Yorkton Terriers. 

Bedard scored two goals in a Regina Pats victory, and left Estevan impressed with the city.

The Bruins will start the 2022-23 season Friday night when they host the Yorkton Terriers, starting at 7 p.m. The club that won the league title this past season will be recognized before the game. 

Unless there is what Shane Bucsis, the manager of the city’s water and wastewater treatment plants, called “crazy, crazy” weather in the next three weeks, he doesn’t foresee anything happening that would keep this project from being completed this year.  

Provincial governments have been urging the federal government to exempt service rigs from regulations under the Motor Vehicle Transport Act.

Gale Tytlandsvik has been working on maintaining and improving Estevan's downtown oasis.

The telethon will run for 33 hours, starting at 8 a.m. on Oct. 14 and through to 5 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Royal Canadian Legion Estevan branch. The public is welcome to come in, support the cause, enjoy entertainment and bid on the silent auction items.
