The tournament will happen from Friday to Sunday at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course. It will be back to having both 18-hole and 36-hole components, with a champion crowned for each, and there will also be a steak supper served at the Power Dodge Curling Centre on Saturday night.

The Estevan Comprehensive School held an awards night on Wednesday, with many students saluted:

Randy Clauson retired from the mines on May 5 after 42 years of employment.  

June 1 was the first full day at the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show at the Weyburn exhibition grounds, and it included a visit by Premier Scott Moe and members of cabinet, and MP Pierre Poilievre, who is running as a candidate for the federal Conservative Party. There were also Legends of the Southeast Oilpatch and Hall of Fame inductees honoured, along with the Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year, Grant Fagerheim of Whitecap Resources, and Derrick Big Eagle as the Southeast Sask. Oilman of the Year.

Day says he wants to help people, as his parents have always done.

Shanelle Rioux will compete at the International Federation of American Football World Championships in Finland from July 27 to Aug. 7.

The 2022 edition of Envision's 50/50 for a Cause is now underway. And while it's serving a great goal, the raffle will also make someone up to $42,500 richer. Envision will receive the other half of the money raised, with all of it staying in the southeast.

Mercury joined the Mine Rescue Team at Westmoreland Mining Holdings LLC’s Estevan Mine during their training in preparation for provincials. The goals are set high.

Emily Jepson (nee Clauson) was one of four people presented with the CIM-Bedford Canadian Young Mining Leaders Award by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).
