The anti-racism projects for the month include spotlighting remarkable Canadians from diverse backgrounds on social media pages. During the month of March, people can visit the SWIS and Transitions Facebook and Instagram pages to learn more about these remarkable individuals and the great contributions they have made to Canada.

The foundation announced Friday that Breanne Van De Woestyne had resigned after more than three years in the role. She’ll be replaced by Lori Gervais, who joined the foundation in late 2018 and had been working with the foundation in a finance role.

"This is probably a record. I've been stationed in Weyburn now for 20 years, and I don't remember the time where we've had to deal with as many situations of moose occurrences as we've had this year," conservation officer Lindsey Leko.
