Keely Shaw will be part of Team Canada in Para cycling at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games this summer. Shaw, who hails from Midale, will suit up for Canada in the women’s C4 classification.

The Estevan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion recently showed its support for health care in the community. The legion presented two cheques for $2,500 each to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. One was for the addictions treatment centre.

The Estevan Police Service is asking the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old Simone Flatfoot-Menard of Estevan. Flatfoot-Menard was reported missing at around noon on July 27. She was last seen the night of July 26 at her home in Estevan.

A local man is grateful for a new lease on life that he has received since an organ transplant earlier this year. Kevin Toombs was only born with one kidney and it was located in the front of his stomach.
