A Lampman farmer has pleaded guilty to a charge under the Animal Protection Act. Chad Mokelky pleaded guilty last week in Estevan Provincial Court for causing or permitting an animal to be in distress. Two similar Criminal Code charges were stayed.

Hillcrest School has announced that classes are cancelled for Thursday due to a significant water main break in Estevan. The school is without water due to the break. Other buildings in the southeast corner are currently without water as well.

When I bought a condo back in 2013, one of the reasons I cited was that “13 years in Estevan’s rental market was long enough.” Granted, most of my experiences weren’t bad. The first few years I lived here were fine.
