The approval and early roll-out for a COVID-19 vaccine is the best news we’ve had in the nine-plus months since COVID-19 restrictions first came into effect. Health Canada has approved Pfizer’s vaccine for COVID-19.

There are 169 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Dec. 16, bringing the provincial total to date to 12,594 cases. The South East region has one a new case, which is located in Estevan’s Zone 4.
