The United Way Estevan is looking for events that it can support in the community through its community impact committee.

The Assiniboia Skating Club (ASC) held their annual Carnival on March 23, showcasing routines performed by its 45 skaters, ranging in age from 3 to 16 years. This year’s theme was Sun, Sand & Sea.

Looking back over the years I can think of only one neighbour we found impossible to get along with; any recollections of that person are greatly outnumbered by the wonderful neighbourhood friendships we’ve enjoyed over the years, however.

An ally workshop at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) on Monday night attracted about 30 people for discussions on how to build better and more inclusive communities.

Grade 5 students from Spruce Ridge School have sent a clear and creative message against racism. In co-operation with Southeast Newcomer Services, the students created paintings with pictures and slogans that express their support for diversity.
