Casting calls for musical set in January

There is growing interest in the upcoming casting calls for “Rocky Horror Show” for Crocus 80 Theatre. Casting calls will be held at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre on Monday, Jan. 5 and Thursday, Jan. 8, both at 7 p.m.

There is growing interest in the upcoming casting calls for “Rocky Horror Show” for Crocus 80 Theatre. Casting calls will be held at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre on Monday, Jan. 5 and Thursday, Jan. 8, both at 7 p.m.
The intent is to take the “Rocky Horror Show” musical to the TheatreFest competition, which is organized by Theatre Saskatchewan, to be held April 19 to 25, 2015 and hosted by the Melfort Amateur Dramatics.
Crocus 80 Theatre are seeking any interested cast and crew that want to be involved. “Rocky Horror Show” calls for a large cast, with six males and three females in the core cast, and four additional cast as “Phantoms/ Transilvanians”. The majority of the cast must have musical experience, with a variety of voice ranges being sought.
For those who want to work backstage, Crocus 80 Theatre is seeking those interested in costuming, make-up, choreography, lights and sound technical, and set design and building.
