Students from the Drewitz School of Dance completed demanding examinations this past fall and the results have just recently been revealed.
The students who are under the direction of Lorie-Gay Drewitz-Gallaway, completed Scottish dance examinations on Nov. 29. Tap and jazz dance students were examined on Nov. 28 and 29.
The examiner for the Highland dance exams was Aileen Robertson from Ayr, Scotland who were examined in medal, national and jig categories.
The tap and jazz dance students were scrutinized by Debbie Noce from Toronto and Sandra Shlemp from Calgary.

Highland Medals
Pre-bronze fling: Highly commended – Payton Sernick. Commended plus – Alexis Paton and Aurora McCutcheon. Commended – Sienna Kuntz. Pass plus – Kathryn Orlowski-Lever.
Pre-bronze sword: Highly commended – Halle Adams, Jersey Long and Gabrielle Gedak. Commended plus – Kerison Burnett, Jaycee Neff. Commended – Zoey Wilson-Elliott.
