The third annual Art Farm will be held on June 13 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the van der Breggen acreage.
Art Farm III is a gathering of over 35 artists, exhibiting and selling their work. This is a family event that will include food (a fundraiser for the Weyburn Youth Centre), live music, face painting, kid's activities, horse-drawn wagon rides (weather permitting) as well as art in many mediums. Admission is $2.00, with children under six years admitted free.
Art Farm is an opportunity to expose our local talented artists, while giving the public the chance to view and purchase original works of art. What better venue than the Saskatchewan prairies? With the help of the van der Breggen family and a committee of dedicated artists, we are excited to facilitate this exhibition, which accommodates many artists and guests as well as live music in a rural setting. We have a diverse group of artist friends, both accomplished and emerging. Painters, potters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, performing artists come together to give a market type experience in a casual country atmosphere.
We have partnered with the Kinsman to do a Raffle of four works of art by local artists Max Himsl, Tina Hudson, Abraham van der Breggen, and Simple with a Twist to help cover expenses.
Gather your family and friends to experience a unique shopping atmosphere, have a snack, lunch or supper, witness art being created, music being made amidst our beautiful prairie landscape!
The van der Breggen acreage is located five minutes from Weyburn, south on Highway 35, west (right) at TWP 080, south (left) at the white barn.
