A popular tandem that provides entertainment for families will wrap up the 2018-19 edition of the Estevan Arts Council’s Koncerts for Kids series.
Splash ’N Boots will perform on May 30 at 7 p.m. at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
The duo rose to prominence in the hearts and minds of families through music, live shows and television. Their music creates family dance parties; it has become a soundtrack to bedtimes, mealtimes and moments in between.
Since their inception, Splash ’N Boots has released 12 original music albums, resulting in six consecutive Juno Award nominations for Children’s Album of the Year between 2014 and
2019. On television, they appear daily with their No. 1-rated TV show, which is broadcast on Treehouse TV and Disney Jr. Canada, as well as the worldwide streaming platform Kidoodle. It garnered 900,000 views in the first six months on the platform.
Splash ’N Boots is committed to using their voice to raise awareness for important causes. They were the first children's act to partner with an organization named PLUS1. One dollar from every ticket sold in their cross-Canada 2018 tour went to help young people access music education and adaptive instruments via Musicounts.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Henders Drugs or at the door the day of the concert. All tickets are $10 each, and ages three and under are free.
