Artist Deanna Pierce Colbow displays her mixed media piece “Lightning Strikes”, which is displayed in the James Weir People’s Choice art exhibition.
What inspired me to paint “Lightning Strikes”? As a young child, growing up on a farm … one of my favourite things to do was to watch a storm unfold … the best seat in the house was on the top bunk bed near the window in one of our bedrooms! I still love storm watching, but I’ve never had a better seat than the one out at Grassdale !
