The Souris Valley Museum is promoting a couple of upcoming annual events.
The first is its senior social Aug. 15 from 1-4 p.m. This will be an afternoon of refreshments, dainties, entertainment and fellowship. The senior social is an event with live music mixed with snacks in a fun setting. Visitors are also encouraged to take a stroll around the museum to check out the collection.
Admission will be $2 per person.
The other is the Pioneer Fun Day Aug. 18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This day will include a petting zoo with farm animals, butter and rope making lessons, schoolhouse re-enactments, museum tours and much more.
The Pioneer Fun Day is a family event day filled with pioneer activities. A concession stand will also be available.
People do not need to pre-register to attend either event.
