April Sampson pumps the pedals to work her antique player piano as it plays one of 200 rolls of songs that come with it, while showing staff member Paulette Block how to operate the piano, at the Soo Line Historical Museum on Sept. 14. Sampson had the player piano restored to a fully-working condition, and donated it and the 200 rolls of music to the museum. She originally bought the piano about 50 years ago from a woman in the Pangman-Ogema area, and has used it in her home as a regular piano; the piano was restored for her by Darryl Walton of Moose Jaw.
