Local folk-roots trio Hook & Nail is the closing act at this year's United Way Estevan telethon.
The popular group is performing many of their songs for the crowd at the Royal Canadian Legion's Estevan branch. The band has also been sharing stories behind their music.
The telethon will come to a close at 5 p.m. The United Way eclipsed their goal of $340,000 just after 2 p.m., and will go off the air at 5 p.m.
The total was at more than $371,224 as of 4:15 p.m.
