The Weyburn Concert Series will begin its 2012-2013 season with a performance by musician David Myles on Tuesday, October 9. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Cafetorium at the Weyburn Comprehensive School.
Multiple-award winner David Myles brings audiences across the globe to their feet, with his spirited songs, flawless musicianship and warm and engaging stage show. Myles is well known for his versatility and ability to fuse styles.
Myles' latest album, 'Into the Sun' is a musical adventure, exploring the songwriter's love of Brazilian and African music. His surprisingly intricate song writing and carefully constructed arrangements have garnered him wins in the International Song writing Contest, song placements in film and television productions as well as a place on CBC's Great Canadian Songquest.
