Youths promote anti-discrimination

March 21 is marked on the Canadian calendar as national Anti-Discrimination Day. This year during the first weeks of March, Southeast Newcomer Services and Settlement Workers in Schools Estevan & Weyburn joined with some of their Newcomer youths to help promote anti-discrimination and to #MarchOutRacism.

Young adults pictured here along with some others had fun painting and expressing who they are on t-shirts. Their creative minds collaborated to paint their ideas of what they like about themselves. The project was supported by the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan and SaskCulture. Photos submitted
