A member of the Estevan Mercury Publications sales team has been selected for the prestigious President’s Club offered through the Glacier Media Group.

Teresa Hrywkiw, who has been working in the Mercury’s sales department since 2011, was the sales representative selected for the Prairie Newspaper Group, which includes all of Glacier’s newspapers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

The President’s Club is an employee recognition program of the Glacier Media Group to identify and reward employees for their contributions to the organization.

It’s based on the highest percentage increase in sales from 2017 to 2018.

For her success, Hrywkiw has earned a trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in April. It’s a trip she is looking forward to.

Hrywkiw was quick to point out a lot of people contributed to her success.

“It’s a team effort with sales, with management, with editorial, with administration. Everybody’s a part of it, and contributes to the success,” said Hrywkiw.

She is also grateful for her clients for their support over the years.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to help them and work with them to help market their businesses successfully. Successful local businesses make us all successful as a community.”

Hrywkiw said she enjoys the people she works with at Mercury, the opportunity to be out in the community, and to work with local entrepreneurs on a daily basis. And there’s a special feeling in being able to help the business people in the community.

“Every day is a different day,” she said.

She is also grateful to Glacier for giving her the opportunity to work for the company.

Richard Sadick, the publisher for the Mercury, said he was very happy that she has “attained this high level of recognition.”

“She worked very hard for her clients, and this recognition is a true testament to her commitment to excellence. We are very proud of her.”
