With “Boston” in the lead, the small dogs race got underway, with some of the canine racers unsure of what to do. Boston, a Jack Russell Terrier, not only won the race but blew right by his owner waiting at the finish line. Boston is owned by Graham and Lisa Webb. This was the first of three races held on Sunday afternoon at the off-leash dog park, organized by Pet Valu’s Melanie Ror, and a barbecue was also held, with all proceeds from the event going to the Weyburn Humane Society.
