Stoughton Accident

For the second straight day, there has been a rollover involving a semi-truck south of Stoughton.

Members of the Fillmore RCMP and emergency crews were called to the rollover Saturday morning just after 8 a.m., about two kilometres south of Stoughton. Traffic is currently down to one lane of travel, and delays are to be expected. Once the semi is removed, the highway will be shut down and traffic will be diverted for a large portion of the day.

There was no immediate word on whether injuries occurred.

The accident occurred one day after a semi-truck hauling black sand rolled over 12 kilometres south of Stoughton. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Benson, was taken to hospital in Regina with injuries.
