Envision Counselling and Support Centre is offering a "Boundaries" workshop for women, who would like to learn how to set limits for themselves.
During the workshop, women will learn the meaning of boundaries and how to improve relationships. The minimum age requirement is 18 years.
"The purpose of the workshop is to improve women's lives in the immediate," said Christa Daku, Counselling Supervisor at Envision. "We're going to show our participants that they can set limits and ultimately improve the relationships in their lives and their own personal wellness. They can go home with the tools to make positive changes."
The focus of this workshop will be: "Different Kinds of Boundaries, How to Set Boundaries and Maintaining Healthy Boundaries."
This one-day workshop runs on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. It is free, and all applicants must preregister by Friday, Oct. 11.
"This workshop is available only to women, as we have found in the past that a mixed gender workshop affects the comfort level, and impacts the learning of our participants," said Daku.
For more information on this workshop, or to register please contact Envision Counselling and Support Centre at their Weyburn office.
