A group of cancer survivors are honoured at the Relay for Life, hosted by the Weyburn Comp Student Representative Council on Saturday. The cancer survivors were the first ones to walk the track for Relay for Life, followed by a lap along with their caregivers and family members, and then a walk with all the teams participating in the Relay for Life. The Relay had 20 teams take part, and they raised a total of $40,000 for cancer research, far exceeding the SRC's original goal of $10,000.
