The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for the annual summer parade and their official kick-off to summer. The parade will take place on Monday, July 3 and will launch at 10:30 am. More information is available on the Chamber website at www.weyburnchamber.com.
The deadline to enter a float in the parade is Thursday, June 29. Floats can be registered on the Chamber website or give us a call at the Chamber office at (306) 842-4738.
There is no charge to enter into the parade and awards will be given to best entry in three categories of individual, organization and business.
The section of the parade route starting at Coteau Avenue down to Railway Avenue will be blocked off as various downtown businesses will offer sidewalk sales and other promotions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate Canada’s 150th milestone birthday. Moreover, The Open Air Market will hold an extra market day in conjunction with the Chamber summer parade.
